Return

So I just finished my Ringling CA sophomore year and I haven't written since last summer.  Blogging less frequently has actually been helpful - this year I learned I can be more of a perfectionist than I should be, so I think it helps me stay less attached and ready to move on to the next thing.  I think I'll be blogging a lot more loosely from now on, or whenever I feel progress has been checkpointed.

All in all, this has been the toughest year by far: tons of mistakes were made and there were only a handful of assignments I felt good about turning in.  They're not perfect, but that was supposed to be the moral here, ya?

Also, to help understand my taste in film and understand how much content shorts can tell within a limited time, I've been posting to a film blog that my good friend Jack Corpening and I have started up in prep for the inevitable senior thesis.

(Note: There's some fuzziness/noise crawling on the backside of the second model.  Any suggestions on how to fix are welcome!)

I didn't like my Sit Stand enough to want to post the whole thing, but I did get a lot of help from Ringling alum Francesco Giroldini, who was kind enough to walk me through the lighting here
