Approx. 20 min, obviously still shabby but the rough drawing reads (hopefully!). Would've liked to achieve this in 10, but at least I'm feeling some progression since I'm beginning to get a bit more comfortable blocking/coloring digitally.

Colonel Crackers Collab Blog
What better time than the summer season to make an animated short? A few good buddies and I are aiming to tell simple and silly story about a giraffe, so we've been uploading our progress and individual work on a sister blog. Visual development is inching towards completion, so animation is the next step.
We're really aiming to have this done by the end of August, so it's pretty exciting to collaborate. It'll also be mine and a few others' first animated short.

Blog Rename & Sketchbook Dump
I felt that my blog's name, The Creative Corner, sort of put me on a pedestal. I primarily went with it because it sounded catchy, but it had always been my intention to create an archival of my progression and practice rather than a collection of solid/finished pieces. As a result, I welcome you to my "new" blog, Kyle Lopez: An Art Process Journal.
Below are newer and older sketches, primarily from observation. I think I'm somewhere on the right track, but I wish school was still in session since I felt a lot more productive.
